Bravery, and other Saturday stories

The chores that jump on you on a Saturday morning are just unkind. How is it that you have to wash, lean, mop, weed (the grass  ), and have phatic communion with the neighbours, all in one day? CLIFF HANGER

Some people who classify themselves as dare-devils go on to do adrenaline-pumping activities; they get a ‘kick’ out of hanging on to the precipice of life and surviving. MOSQUITOES

I recently one of the worst nights of my life, not just because there was no power supply and the heat was unbearable, but also because the mosquitoes came out to party.

I had to choose between one of them, it was either I cover myself with the blanket, stand the chance of getting baked and avoid the mosquitoes, or I expose myself to the mosquitoes and maybe enjoy some fresh air (which was almost non-existent anyway); so I chose to become a human barbeque!
